For a bit of fun why not wear a boater, they look great on both men & women! In the late 19th Century and early 20th century boaters were a popular casual summer headgear, especially for boating or sailing. During the second half of the nineteenth century the boater gradually established itself as an item of leisure wear for both men and women and was mostly worn during informal occasions. Prizes for the best boater Dad, and best boater family.
“The day is always so much fun for families wanting to be together & celebrate. Time slows down at Newstead House, so in our busy lives it is a perfect way to spend Father’s Day, enjoying the stunning views of Brisbane River, playing games and taking in the ambience of one of Brisbane’s most significant & beautiful homes” said Jennifer Garcia creator of the event.
