NEWSTEAD HOUSE SOON TO RE-OPEN – STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS
An unavoidable delay in our Newstead House conservation project means we will soon be able to temporarily re-open Newstead House to the public for visits and events. Stay tuned to this website for more details about our re-opening!
Newstead House remains currently CLOSED.
Newstead House was fortunate to receive State Government funding in 2019 for a major restoration and refurbishment project to ensure the future of this beautiful and iconic landmark.
This work has been unavoidably delayed due to the COVID-19 event.
The good news is that with the delay we will be endeavouring to temporarily re-open Newstead House, as much as possible, to the public, including for events.
Keep up to date on our plans for re-opening dates, events, and any COVID-19 restrictions, by visiting this website.
Newstead House is open to the general public on the following days:
Friday – 10am – 2pm
Saturday – 10am – 2pm
Sunday – 10am – 4pm
On opening days we offer a daily tour at 11.30am which is included in your entry price. Our passionate guides will take you on an hour long exploration of Newstead House looking at our history, the collection and the people who have lived in our beautiful home.
