We have been fortunate to receive substantial funding from the State Government for the restoration and refurbishment of Newstead House. This is long overdue and ensures the future of our beautiful and iconic landmark. This work is due to start in August 2020, and as a result, we will not be reopening our doors until after the completion of the restoration project in 2021.
This is an exciting moment in time for Newstead House, Brisbane’s oldest standing residence and we look forward to sharing the journey with you!
