DAVID HINCHLIFFE ART EXHIBITION

Step into history and creativity at the David Hinchliffe Art Exhibition at Newstead House. From 17 October to 21 December, enjoy Hinchliffe’s celebrated contemporary impressionist works displayed within the timeless surrounds of Brisbane’s oldest residence.
Open Fridays from 10am to 2pm and Sundays from 10am to 4pm, the exhibition invites you to explore Hinchcliffe’s paintings as they are displayed throughout the historic rooms of the house. Visitors can choose to wander at their own pace, go on a self-guided tour of Newstead House, or join a guided tour led by volunteers where the story of Newstead’s past comes to life alongside the art. Volunteer-led guided tours take place on Fridays at 11:30am, and Sundays at 11:30am and 2pm.
Entry includes access to both the exhibition and the house, with tickets priced at $12 for adults, $9 for concession card holders, and free for children under 16 when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Tickets can be booked in advance via Oztix or purchased at the door by card on arrival.
Explore the stories of Newstead House and view remarkable artworks in one unforgettable visit.
