We are inviting artists to exhibit within one of Brisbane’s most iconic heritage spaces.
Set within the walls of Newstead House, this gallery opportunity is all about connecting past and present. We are seeking work that connects to Brisbane, whether through Newstead itself, the Brisbane River, the city’s layered history, or a personal or contemporary interpretation of place.
This could include stories of the river, reflections on local history, responses to the evolving cityscape, or works inspired by the character of Newstead House. However approached, we are looking for work grounded in Brisbane that offers a fresh perspective within a historic setting.
We welcome submissions from both emerging and established artists, across all mediums.
